The Adventures of Dax Steele - Heavens Sky Gem

This is the final product for my game development course team's sidescroller game project. In this game, a player assumes the role of a temple explorer armed with a whip who faces various beasts and obstacles as he ascends multiple levels to obtain a valuable artifact. While a few pickups and checkpoints help along the way, the path is meant to be unforgiving and players will quickly find themselves the victim of traps and surprises among the deadly enemies throughout the temple.
